01 PFAS FOREVER CHEMICALS
Used in some water resistant coatings, PFAS do not break down in the body or environment. We test for 671 compounds per batch. Most premium brands test around 40, or do not share a number.
02 FORMAMIDE & PARABENS
Formamide comes from some foam and elastic manufacturing. Parabens are common synthetic preservatives. Both are screened for and have returned zero detections across tested batches.
03 HEAVY METALS
Lead, cadmium, arsenic and mercury are tested at trace level thresholds, well below regulatory limits, since heavy metals can build up in the body over repeated skin contact.
04 SKIN COMPATIBILITY
Beyond chemical screening, the finished diaper is patch tested under dermatological supervision. Excellent is the highest rating available, and the one Hoppi holds.
